It’s called the “Juno Orbiter” and is launching on the Atlas 5 Rocket. I love space. Everything about it. I don’t see how anyone can see the reality of God in the very though of the space and the heavens. It’ll be very awesome to see all-new pictures of Jupiter in a couple years!

Pre-Order Xenoblade Chronicles At GameStop And Get Free Art Book. Release Date is April 6, 2012 for Wii
Pre-order Xenoblade Chronicles at GameStop and you’ll net yourself an exclusive artbook for the title, while pre-ordering XenoBlade Chronicles at the Official Nintendo Online Store will net you a black Classic Controller Pro included with the game if you pay $15 extra (for a total price of $65).
So what is Xenoblade Chronicles? The game is an epic RPG developed by Nintendo 2nd party developer Monolith Soft, the same company behind the Xenosaga series and GameCube RPG series Baten Kaitos, among others. Originally called “Monado: Beginning of the World”, it was later renamed “Xenoblade Chronicles” in January 2010 to honour Tetsuya Takahashi, “who poured his soul into making this and who has been working on the Xeno series”. While the game is named in honor of the Xeno series (Xenogears and Xenosaga) it is not actually related to those games, just titled after them.
Here’s the Xenoblade Chronicles Epic RPG trailer.
The pedigree for Xenoblade Chronicles could not be higher, and the game has been highly regarded as one of the most beautiful and epic games ever released for Wii. And one of the best.
Originally Xenoblade Chronicles was not going to be released in the United States. In fact the game was released in Japan on June 10th of 2010. It was then released in Europe on August 19th, 2011 and Australia on September 1st. Nintendo of America made it’s intention of NOT bringing Xenoblade Chronicles over to the American market known. That sparked a firestorm from RPG fans who felt that they were missing out on some of the best Wii games ever released; not only Xenoblade Chronicles but also other critically acclaimed Wii RPGs such as “The Last Story” from Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi of developer Mistwalker and “Pandora’s Tower”, another Wii-exclusive Japanese RPG. Both The Last Story and Pandora’s Tower were picked up by Nintendo of Europe, and were localized and released across the pond.
Here’s an extensive look at gameplay for XenoBlade Chronicles by youtuber GhostRobo.
Outraged fans decided to do something about the absence of these titles and started a movement called “Operation Rainfall“, in which they set out to systematically support the games in all ways possible and to let their desire to see the Wii trio of RPGs released in America known. They did this by setting up writing campaigns to Nintendo of America, creating a website dedicated to the movement, popularizing the game on forums and message boards, adding the Amazon-entry for “Monado: Beginning of the World” to their wishlists, pre-ordering Monado on Amazon (which caused the game to reach #1 in the Wii Games section), promoting the game on Facebook and Twitter, and letting Nintendo of America know of their desire to see the trio of RPGs released in America via phone calls, letters, petitions and the like. Eventually Nintendo took notice… and on December 2nd, 2011, they posted on the official Nintendo of America Facebook that Xenoblade Chronicles would be released in America on April 6th, 2012! Operation Rainfall had seen their first victory!
The fact that Nintendo posted the release announcement on Facebook is said to be a sign to Operation Rainfall (who was very active on Facebook) that they had an impact on Nintendo; although whether or not it was enough in and of itself to convince Nintendo to release the game is another matter entirely. Nintendo has denied that Operation Rainfall was the sole reason; but the Wii would’ve had a huge absence of big-name releases had Nintendo not acted on bringing these games over. In many ways, it’s hard to imagine how Nintendo could oppose their American release, especially considering that the European’s had already localized the games into English and recorded new English voiceovers.

Awesome, beautiful artwork for Pandora's Tower, the acclaimed Wii RPG and last member of Operation Rainfall.
Operation Rainfall then had another huge win when Nintendo announced that they would be releasing The Last Story stateside on June 19th, 2012 in partnership with Xseed Games! Operation Rainfall has now started a full-blown website that will concentrate on getting Pandora’s Tower released in America (the last game of the trio that has yet to receive an announcement regarding an American release) and then focus their sights on other niche titles that they desire to see released in America and elsewhere. Song of the Day and Lyrics – Feel As Though You Could By Demon Hunter From World Is A Thorn Album
However it has some of the best lyrics on the entire album in my humble opinion, and is one of the heaviest songs on the album as well (along with Tie This Around Your Neck).
Unfortunately I don’t like the bridge of this song nor the ending. The song is strongest during the first two verses, both of which are amazing. Enjoy!
Feel As Though You Could Lyrics from Demon Hunter (The World Is A Thorn):
REBELLION!!!!!!!!!
Oh cheap thrills and vacant youth
Carry out your own will
Shovel deep and bury truth
Social stain
PUNK WRECK
Mother’s own . . .
DEFECT
Sing that song you know so well
SING IT ONE FOOT IN HELL
EYES
WIDE
BLACK
TURN
YOUR
BACK!!!!!!!
Oh how the foolish will see . . . . . . . . .
How every man he does bleed . . . . . .
THE VULTURES
CIRCLE
HALO OF THE DEAD
Another
VICIOUS
CYCLE
SWALLOW WHAT YOUR FED
And now
THE VULTURES
CIRCLE
HALO OF THE DEAD
Another
VICIOUS
CYCLE
Be true to your DISSENT
Somehow . . . Feel . . .
Feels though . . .
You could . . .
Somehow . . .
In all your petty suffering (suffering)
BURN THIS DOWN
REJECTION!!!!!!!
Of weak trends and fake hate
This is what you’re fighting for?
Some fools MISTAKE
I WILL DEVOUR YOU
I’LL OVERPOWER YOU
Rise from the ashes
Screaming ETERNITY
THE VULTURES
CIRCLE
HALO OF THE DEAD
Another
VICIOUS
CYCLE
SWALLOW WHAT YOUR FED
And now
THE VULTURES
CIRCLE
HALO OF THE DEAD
Another
VICIOUS
CYCLE
Be true to your DISSENT
Somehow . . . Feel
Feels though . . .
You could . . .
Somehow . . .
In all your petty suffering (suffering)
GO!!!!!!
OHHHHHHHHHHH
Ignite (ignite)
Upon (upon)
These words (these words)
And breathe defeat
Your shallow deeds
Make hell
FOR
Wood and stone
Flesh and bone
THIS ALONE!!!!
Somehow . . . Feel . . .
FEELS THOUGH
You could . . .
Somehow . . .
In all your petty suffering (suffering)
BURN THIS DOWN
……BURNTHISDOWN…… *repeat*

Behind the Song – Feel As Though You Could (By Ryan Clark, lead vocalist of Demon Hunter and writer of all their material)
The heavy metal scene is a culture steeped in pointless, juvenile rebellion. In some extreme cases, some delusional metalheads have murdered and raped for what they see as a rebellious or “true metal” lifestyle. More specifically, there are a number of church burning occurrences that led me to write this song. I understand that these burnings were committed in an attempt to regain some supposed pagan landscape, however, I would also assume that the real goal is to destroy Christianity, and not just a building. With logic now introduced in the scenario, I offer the concept that you cannot physically burn down something existing in a spiritual realm, therefore attempts at destroying something that dwells within our souls are futile.
“But the temple he had spoken of was his body.” – John 2:21
Lead vocalist Ryan Clark in the 4th iTunes Album Podcast Episode: “The lyrics of the song Feel As Though You Could are specifically about youthful rebellion, more particularly in the metal scene itself. I think that alot of fans take the subversive nature of metal a little bit too far and bring it into their own lives. And the way that manifests itself alot of the time is through sometimes violent rebellion or just mindless rebellion. This song to me just points out those aspects of the scene that are immature and disrespectful. These things are a common byproduct in the metal scene. I think people like to be subversive for the sake of being subversive, but to me it’s just a sign of immaturity.” – Ryan Clark, Demon Hunter

Quote of the Day – “There Is Nothing In Which People More Betray Their Character Than In What They Laugh At.” Goethe
“There is nothing in which people more betray their character than in what they laugh at.”
This to me is one of those quotes that is infinitely interesting. I have long held the view that comedy is one of the most secretly dangerous influencers in modern America today. And it is made much worse by the type of extremely crude, mean, blasphemous and empathy-less comedy entertainment that saturates the world of today. Whether it is TV shows like South Park, The Simpsons or Family Guy, or comedians like Bill Maher, John Stewart, David Letterman, Stephen Colbert or George Lopez.
But it’s not just entertainment (I didn’t even mention movies), one area where damage has been done in a major way in my opinion is in the area of “fail” videos and the like. These are videos that pervade the Internet (and on TV via certain shows) where people laugh at others who have “failed” at something… However often this involves the person getting hurt in some manner, whether it’s falling, bailing on a skateboard or running into a pole, falling into a hole, etc.
I know people who absolutely love to watch these videos and will spend hours on the Internet laughing at the expense of others. While I agree that the above isn’t the same or direct cause (necessarily) in creating a person who is completely absent of compassion, it IS still a step in that direction when you get used to laughing at what should offend or cause one pause. And the sad reality is that our society’s love of fail videos has lead to many of these situations happening in real life, and people doing absolutely nothing about it… except laughing. We’ve all seen news coverage of bad things happening, and people simply minding their own business and walking by, not lifting a figure to help. Or even worse, laughing about it or at the person involved (such as during school fights….). Then again, “The Good Samaritan” is a Biblical story that’s as old as time itself, and even back in those days people were walking on by when someone was seriously injured…
While the violence in our media and the like may have some impact as well, I think the real damage is not in the media itself, but in the tendency to see the world without empathy and compassion at the expense of the person on the other end; all for a short laugh on your end.
And I don’t know what the solution is other than to try and influence your friends and family to avoid that type of “entertainment” or to avoid saturating themselves in it. And constantly reminding yourself that it isn’t cool to laugh at someone else’s expense. Period.
Having said that I can enjoy an episode of South Park as much as the next guy, so I’m not trying to say that one has to halt all viewing of said entertainment, but I do think you need to be careful to keep your empathy and compassion intact and be careful that those around you are not growing a tolerance to seeing others in pain and finding it funny. Because it isn’t. And that worldview is a dangerous one indeed. One only has to look at Nazi Germany to understand what happens when a society grows to lack compassion for all individuals.
Through A Virgin’s Eyes – Kid Icarus: Uprising Let’s Play
Kid Icarus: Uprising is Nintendo’s 2012 revival of a legendary 8bit masterpiece originally released in 1986 for the Nintendo Entertainment System; a game developed by Metroid-creator Gunpei Yokoi!
The game used many of the same elements as Metroid, but Kid Icarus was never nearly as popular as the first great female videogame character Samus Aran’s Metroid adventures. Regardless through Kid Icarus’ and it’s main character, the angel Pit, gained it’s own fan-following and the series got a sequel to the NES game for the Game Boy in 1991 with Kid Icarus: Of Myth and Monsters.
That game built on the original NES titles action, but fans were disappointed when Pit fell off the face of the earth, never to be seen again! He was finally revived by Nintendo with Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii, a fighting game that pit (pun non intended) many of Nintendo’s most-popular characters against each other!

Photo of the Day – Worry is the Dark Room Where Negatives Are Developed
This is a really interesting quote and a good life lesson to live by. Worrying only leads you into a dark place of negativity, where it is hard to see the light and you only further develop additional negativity that brings you down.
Optimism brings you into the light. And this is a principle that’s Biblical as well. Remember to always stay away from negativity as often as possible. While that doesn’t mean you should be dancing in the street per say if something really bad happens, it does mean to always keep your mind focused on the positive. The Bible even says to thank God in all things. Remember that negativity is BAD. Any way you can avoid it will improve your life drastically. And all it takes sometimes is a slight shift in perspective to do so. Have a great day. :)
Unboxing Kid Icarus: Uprising and Full Manual for Nintendo 3DS
Hopefully you pre-ordered Kid Icarus: Uprising, if so you also got your grubby little mitts on 3D Classics: Kid Icarus, a pre-order incentive that gives a new stereoscopic 3D coat of paint to the original NES game.
I’ve yet to dive into Kid Icarus: Uprising, but I will do so just after I post this article! In the video I even show off the entire instruction book that is included with Kid Icarus: Uprising. In addition to the full manual, you get to see the six AR Cards that were included with my copy of the game, and a look at the 3DS Stand that is included in the box, as well as the brochures it comes with (outside of the Club Nintendo code, of course. Which btw, the survey to complete your registration of Club Nintendo currently isn’t working for me and many others. Hopefully Nintendo gets it fixed pronto and gives those who pre-ordered the game their extra 10 Coins…).
Here is the Unboxing of Kid Icarus: Uprising!
