Harley Quinn's Revenge, Batman Arkham City's final DLC, lands May 29, 2012. Will be included in the Game of the Year Edition
Those who still have not yet played Arkham City, the sequel to the award-winning, critically acclaimed, highly-rated Batman: Arkham Asylum, will definitley be happy to have the “Game of the Year” Edition to pick up instead, as it will include every update to the game that has been released digitally since Batman: Arkham City’s launch last year in October.
In addition to all of the game updates being included, the Game of the Year Edition will also include all of the post-released DLC. Downloadable Content that will be included on the disc at no extra charge includes the Catwoman, Nightwing and Robin add-ons, in addition to all of the Arkham City Skin and Challenge packs.
All of this is par for the course as far as Game of the Year Editions are concerned, and one of the reasons why some gamers opt to wait a year or so to buy a game instead of getting it new at launch, because you basically get a better value; recieving all of the paid DLC for free and included on the disc instead of having to shell out loads of cash for each new expansion or add-on for the game… Of course, the downside being that you have to wait a whole year to play something everyone else is raving about.

But making this Batman: Arkham City – Game of the Year Edition an even sweeter deal is that fact that it will include the “Batman: Year One” full animated movie! (Note that this will be included only on the American and Canadian releases of the game). This is a very cool bonus indeed. In addition, the Arkham City Game of the Year Edition will include the FINAL DLC for the game entitled “Harley Quinn’s Revenge”, which will come included on the disc (those who own a previous version of the game will have to buy it as DLC when it launches on May 29th at a price of 800 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360 on the Xbox Live Marketplace or $10 on PSN for PS3).
“The Harley Quinn’s Revenge story mission brings players back to Arkham City where they will play as Batman and Robin, fighting against new thugs in fresh environments. Players will make use of each character’s unique skills on their way to uncovering Harley’s evil plan.”

Batman: Arkham City was a huge hit, garnering a myriad of awards and besting the previous game, Arkham Asylum, by most people’s estimations. The game was released for Xbox 360 and PS3 on October 18th, 2011 with the PC version landing on November 22nd, 2011. Batman: Arkham City has shipped over 6 million units worldwide and has sold close to 7 million copies thus far across all three versions, with the PS3 version selling the best (according to VGChartz).
