Magicka: The Other Side of the Coin DLC Release Date Is June 14, 2012. Play As the Bad Guys

Magicka has been a huge digital hit for developer Paradox Interactive, who released the game on Steam and PC to over 200,000 copies sold in its first week. The Indie title was developed by only 8 people from Lulea University of Technology in Skelleftea, Sweden.

The action adventure game got great reviews and now a new downloadable content release has been announced. In which players can take on the role of the bad guys!

This spawned from the players ability to kill their teammates, while this is often done on accident in the game… there are definitely those players who find a wicked happiness in attacking their allies.

Enter Magicka: The Other Side of the Coin, it will be released on June 14th for $5

This all-new DLC adventure allows players to take on the role of the enemies in the game and play would-be villains in the form of Alucart the Vampire and his Necromancer henchman. Naturally, you as the bad guys must face off against the forces of good. The goal being to further sabotage relations between Dwarves, Humans and Elves, which are already in a bad spot.
