Super Smash Bros. Wii U 3DS Characters Art By Sakurai

The first official Super Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS Artwork! Who is missing?! Who are you happy to see!?

Super Smash Bros. Wii U artwork! The first official art from Super Smash Bros. 4 3DS/Wii U has been tweeted out by director Sakurai himself! This on his official Super Smash Bros. Universe Twitter.

Sadly, no new Super Smash Bros. Wii U 3DS characters are revealed, but this does give us a tease for the highly anticipated sequel. Is this a hint at what characters we can expect in the final version?

In it we can see many fan-favorite characters from past games, including: Kirby, Link, Luigi, Meta Knight, Pikmin, Fox, Donkey Kong, Mario, Zero Suit Samus, Wario, Pikachu, Pitt, Sandbag, Mr. Saturn, Mr. Game & Watch and Marth/Roy/ or Ike…. Not sure which one it is.

Is there anyone else you spot or any secrets you feel are hidden in this first Super Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U artwork?

Here is a video showing of the Nintendo Direct announcement of the Super Smash Bros. Wii U Namco Bandai news.

That’s Marth, you can tell by the hair style, since Roy and Ike have spiky hair and Ike has a completely different armor style.
Oh, and you can see Master Hand and Crazy Hand, although it was hard to tell at first, since they looked like background elements.
