I was very surprised to see that stealth can actually be used in Metal Gear Rising, until this point the game is all action… but thanks to the Cardboard Box, sneaking up on enemies can indeed be accomplished and wield fantastic results! This is also the point in my video series where I mess with the video settings to create a different picture. I think it’s a better one, as the colors are bolder, but some stuff like the Codec conversations are a bit blurrier, it works however.

This boss fight was INTENSE and INSANE! This is the point where the game was finally pushed from 10 to 11. From “it’s pretty great” to “OMG FRICKIN BADASS!” :D Enjoy!

In this newest Let’s Play series, we tackle the long-awaited Devil May Cry-style action saga from Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima, a game that was often in troubled development and at one time cancelled by Kojima himself. However Platinum Games was brought on-board, were able to revive the product, and now we see the fruits of their labors in 2013; after four years of development (it was announced in 2009).

In this first installment you get to watch the intro and intense opening for the game, see the first battles and first boss fight against a giant Metal Gear mech, and will get well-acquainted with Metal Gear Rising. I also go through all the codec conversations, something I focus on throughout play of this game.
