Hahahaha. Gotta love this photo. It’s great to see playful pics of the President visiting with children, these pics always bring a smile to my face. :D

Videogame Photo of the Day – Epic Big Daddy Little Sister Cosplay (Bioshock)
Look at the detail in the Big Daddy costume, absolutely epic! And the Little Sister, who appears to be daddy’s little girl, is absolutely PERFECT. :D
It’s funny to see a dad and daughter team-up like this, perfect characters for a perfect situation. Glad someone had the sense to capture this on film, as this is an amazing cosplay piece!
Here’s another Big Daddy, Little Sister cosplay. The photo above is amazing though cause the Little Sister is actually a little girl, which is much harder to find.
And here is a trailer for the original Bioshock!
Videogame Photo of the Day – Mewtwo Is Deep Pokemon First Movie Quote: I See Now That the Circumstances of One’s Birth Are Irrelevant. It Is What You Do With the Gift of Life That Determines Who You Are
Anyone who remembers seeing Pokemon the First Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back in movie theaters when it came out (as I did) will remember well this quote and how absolutely awesome the movie was. It really does get into some deep themes that people forget about; especially for a kid’s film.
Man… I need to watch that movie again! I had an old VHS tape of the film where the sound was in mono, making Mewtwo’s voice normal sounding instead of “distant” as in the actual film. It was WAY better that way!
Here is a trailer for Pokemon the First Movie!
Videogame Photo of the Day – The Space Invaders Point of View Descending On Earth Wallpaper Artwork
This is a really cool and interesting pic, showing what it may look like from the point of view of the invaders from Space Invaders! As you can see, they are high above the earth and dropping one of the iconic aliens from a ship out onto the planet! :D EPIC!
Here is a gameplay video of the classic arcade game Space Invaders.
Videogame Photo of the Day – Game Keeper Case for Game Boy Retro Ad. Keeping Portable Was Tough Until Now. Game On the Go At Ease!
Haha. Gotta love these old retro videogame ads. I mean look at the smile on that kids face! THANKS GAME KEEPER!
Here’s a look at something similar!
In all seriousness, I had something similar to this when I was young with my original Game Boy (which my mom purchased for me alongside amazing games Metroid II: Return of Samus and Zelda: Link’s Awakening) which fit over the screen and acted as both a magnifying glass and a light. I remember it being pretty cool and I liked the magnified view, although sometimes I’d remove it cause the game graphics were sharper without it… I do wish I had this case. It’s pretty neat…. but portable? Meh.
Videogame Photo of the Day – Super Metroid For Real In Cave Wallpaper Artwork
Now this is easily one of the coolest pieces of art I’ve ever seen. As a HUGE fan of Super Metroid and the Metroid games in general, this piece is absolutely phenomenal! A cave setting is also PERFECT. Absolutely fitting!
Here is a Let’s Play of Super Metroid!
Videogame Photo of the Day – Track & Field NES 8bit For Real Olympic Race Wallpaper Artwork
I never really played these games as a kid, but I do recall this one girl I used to like who was 8 years old and lived down the street. Her name was “Carolina” and she owned this game along with the Power Pad for NES. Of course, I always played the cooler games like Excitebike, Batman or Contra. Now I feel like I missed out!
I saw a funny comment with a guy saying him and his friends never actually stepped on that mat to play, they simply pounded their fists into it to make the lil olympian run!
If you never played these games, they were (in many ways) the precursor to the Dance Dance Revolution series and it’s mat-based Dance/Music/Rhythm gameplay.
Here’s a video of Track & Field NES gameplay in action.
Videogame Photo of the Day – Red Dead Redemption Meets Mario! Mamma Mia Bros. Wanted Dead or Alive Artwork
I wish Nintendo would do something really daring and try something crazy like re-inventing Mario with this kind of art-style. Wouldn’t that be awesome?! I think they should try it at least once!
