Obama Romney 2nd Presidential Debate Live Full Video. Town Hall At Hofstra University, Candy Crowley As Moderator (October 16 2012 At Hempstead, New York In Front of Undecided Voter Audience)

2nd Debate Handshake Obama Romney

Don’t worry. The friendly handshake doesn’t last long…

Full video Romney Obama 2nd Presidential Debate Townhall-style. Live video (October 16 2012) moderated by Candy Crowley of CNN at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York was done in front of a crowd of undecided voters who had not made up their minds between Mitt Romney or Barack Obama, and they are the ones who provided the questions.

The debate was a feisty, testy, all-out brawl between these two Presidential titans, which seemed like they would come-to-blows at times. The consensus is that President Obama won the debate by not by a large margin. I like-in it to Obama getting his mojo back, but not blunting Romney’s momentum.

Mitt Romney definitely held his own and ended up being right on the Libya equation which was wrongly corrected by Candy towards the end of the debate, CNN later backtracked saying Romney was correct and Candy and Obama were wrong, which was obvious from those who knew the history and watched Obama’s UN Speech in which a youtube video was blamed for the violence that lead to the death of Ambassador Christopher Stevens.

Overall, the debate was outstanding, and I really loved the townhall style. I feel that this was one of the most non-partisan debates (except for Candy’s moderation) in terms of questions that I have ever seen. And it was really interesting to see Obama and Romney really got at it in a aggressive way on the same stage as right in front of one another. Definitely a debate for the ages.

However I think people will more remember Obama’s epic loss, than his comeback with this second debate, as Obama failed to deliver a knockout punch and failed to give enough reasons why he should be awarded a second term and where he’ll take the country in the future. Romney however came off as too unsettling and not friendly or likeable enough, even while putting Obama’s policies on the cutting board and laying out his clear vision for where he plans to lead the country.

I think Romney will be better served to dial the attacks on Obama back a bit, and lessen the bickering. He also needs to avoid asking Obama questions in the next round. Romney was also interrupted many more times than Obama (28(!!!) times compared to 9 times!) in this debate, and Obama got 4 minutes and 18 seconds more speaking time (amounting to 11%) than Romney! Now you can understand why Romney fought so hard to interrupt, eh.

In the end though, as always, you can be the judge. Don’t forget to register to vote if you still can, and be sure TO VOTE on November 8th!

The next and final Presidential Debate will be held on October 22 2012 and will focus on foreign policy.

Romney Meets Billy Graham and Evangelist Franklin Graham. Both Endorse Romney For President Despite Mormon Differences (Photo of the Day October 12 2012)

Mitt Romney Billy Graham Meet October 11 2012

….. 2012 Republican Presidential Nominee Mitt Romney meets with evangelists Billy Graham and Franklin.

Mitt Romney met Evangelist Billy Graham and his son, evangelist Franklin Graham, for the first time on October 11th 2012 for over half an hour.

Here is part of what Billy Graham said about Christians standing beside Mitt Romney and giving him their vote:

“What impresses me even more than Governor Romney’s successful career are his values and strong moral convictions. I appreciate his faithful commitment to his impressive family, particularly his wife Ann of 43 years and his five married sons.”

“It was a privilege to pray with Governor Romney—for his family and our country. I will turn 94 the day after the upcoming election, and I believe America is at a crossroads. I hope millions of Americans will join me in praying for our nation and to vote for candidates who will support the biblical definition of marriage, protect the sanctity of life and defend our religious freedoms.”

Billy Graham met with President Obama in 2010 and with President Bush on several occasions, as he has with all previous Presidents and President-elects. Here is a video of former President George W. Bush talking about one of his meetings with Billy Graham.

The two discussed many issues, and Billy Graham fully endorsed Mitt Romney, encouraging all Christians and Evangelicals to vote for him despite the differences that mainstream Christians have with Mormonism, on the grounds of their deep convictions on religious freedom, traditional marriage and pro-life issues among others that the two differing faiths share.

Billy Graham even prayed with Mitt Romney, as he has done with all Presidents and President-elects for the United States, as such a powerful Christian figure in American history.

Here is Romney’s 2007 “landmark speech” on religion and his Mormon faith given ahead of the Republican Primaries in 2008 in which John McCain was ultimately chosen as the nominee. Romney would get that nod four years later in 2012.

I love President Obama’s smile in this photo taken just before their hands meet for “The Handshake”.

One of the things I love most are seeing two Presidents interact, especially if they are from different parties. Or in this case, The President interacting with the Republican nominee to replace him.

Here’s another cool shot of “The Handshake” at the 2012 Obama Romney Presidential Debate. Gotta love that smile on Obama’s face.

President Obama Full United Nations UN Speech September 2012

Obama UN United Nations September 2012 Speech

President Obama spoke about freedom to the United Nations with a tribute to Chris Stevens.

President Barack Obama’s full UN speech for September 2012 to the United Nations General Assembly is viewable below.

Obama spoke about freedom, and opened his speech with a great tribute to our slain Ambassador Christopher Stevens who was killed recently in a horrible act of terrorism that is still not completely understood.

I thought the speech was great overall, and ends strong, although I think Obama sounds weak, and like he is attempting to convince those who cannot be convinced (as the President’s “Olive Branch” to Iran has proven).

Here are my exact thoughts (not via hindsight) that I posted to my facebook exactly as I was watching the speech.

President Obama in his UN speech, talking about how he defends the rights of Americans to blaspheme his Christian faith, and will always defend that right.

So says the President who tried (unsuccessfully) to ban Fox News from the White House Press Corp. And kept it up for months and months and months, trying to form a narrative that was ultimately rejected. It took CNN, PBS and other news organizations telling the White House to back off before they finally did. As if the White House can pick and choose what defines a “news” organization worthy enough of the privilege to cover them. Read the rest of this entry »

Great Cartoon The Collapse of the American Dream. The Federal Reserve vs The American People. Debt, Bondage to Money, Greedy Bankers and Corrupt Politicians All Told In Awesome Pop-Culture-Fueled Animated Form. Funny And Ass-Kickingly Badass. WATCH NOW.

Founding Father Thomas Jefferson Lays the Smackdown on Bankers in the Collapse of the American Dream Cartoon

Listen to our Founding Fathers. They understood the stakes of debt and greed.

The Collapse of the American Dream is a detailed cartoon that takes viewers into the world of modern American finance, telling the story of the formation of the Federal Reserve, how our Founding Fathers tried to imbue the Constitution and the American People with the power to fight off bondage to debt and rule by bankers…

And the short film breaks down the complexity of the issues into an easy-to-digest chunk of funny, fun-filled adventure in animated film format. With pop-culture references up the wazoo, it’s both informative and highly educational.

Please watch this and show it to everyone you know. These are the issues confronting us today, and the election of Barack Obama has only pushed us further towards the fiscal cliff.

The Republicans, Tea Party, Ron Paul and the Libertarian movement have the answers, and we must join together to fight the liberals and government-dependent-believing Democrats that are leading America to financial ruin.

Absentee In Chief Photo of the Day – National Obama Empty Chair Day TeaParty (September 4 2012)

Absentee In Chief National Obama Empty Chair Day (TeaParty Photo)

…. Empty Chair Day celebrating Obama’s Absentee In Chief status as defined by Clint Eastwood’s RNC2012 Performance.

National Empty Chair Day. Taking the Obama Empty Chair concept from Clint Eastwood’s RNC2012 Speech at the Republican National Convention and running with it, Tea Party Members and Conservatives everywhere are encouraging people to share photos of empty chairs.

This is supposed to represent Obama’s “Absentee In Chief” status, and the fact that he hasn’t done enough to reach out to the other party, such as have WEEKLY jobs conferences with the intent of bringing Republicans and Democrats in Congress together to solve the economic crisis.

Instead, as you know, he is out campaigning to try and hold onto his job as President against challenger Romney Ryan 2012.

Whatever you think of the concept for Empty Chair Day though, you gotta admit it’s a pretty hilarious and awesome stunt. Clint had no idea what he was getting into, eh.
