Sly Cooper fighting Kratos fighting Sweet Tooth fighting Parappa the Rapper? :/ AWESOME.
Well the need to wonder who would beat who in a fight out of Sony’s stable of beloved characters will no longer have to be pondered, because they are all assembled into one badass fighting brawler with the announcement of “PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale”!
The game is a Super Smash Bros. clone (the series that pit Nintendo’s characters against each other in a unique brawling-style, not a Fighting game per se) that replaces Nintendo’s characters with some of Sony’s most popular characters.
It’s a recipe for success if I ever heard one. Even though it’s a clone, who DOESN’T want to see Kratos fight Sweet Teeth? Exactly. The game will be released exclusively for PlayStation Network on the PS3.
Lots of Sony characters converge in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royal for PSN.
Confirmed PlayStation Battle Royal Characters Include:
* Kratos (From God of War)
* Sweet Tooth (From Twisted Metal)
* Sly Cooper
* Fat Princess
and
* Colonel Radec (From Killzone 2)
Many more characters are sure to exist. The environments meanwhile are a unique mashup between two different game series. For example one features God of War in the foreground/background, with Patapon characters behind… Crazy!
The game looks EXACTLY like a by-the-numbers Super Smash Bros. carbon copy. Which means it looks insanely awesome and insanely fun. :D Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery right? PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will be out later this year.
