Newt Gingrich’s Final Presidential Candidate Speech. Drops Out of Race, Endorses Romney for President

Newt Gingrich Concession Speech May 2012

Newt Gingrich ends 2012 Republican Presidential Candidacy in this speech.

As many of you already know, Republican Presidential Candidate and “Last Conservative Standing” Newt Gingrich has officially bowed out of the tumultuous Republican race for the Republican Presidential Nomination of 2012.

Along with his departing of the race, he officially endorsed Mitt Romney for the Republican Nomination, and pledged to continue working hard and fighting hard for the Conservative and Christian ideals that made this country the great “shining city on a hill” that it is. As well as doing everything he can to elect Mitt Romney as President and secure Republican and Conservative members at all levels of government.

On the Romney issue, he talked about how he is often asked if “Mitt Romney is Conservative enough?” He went on to explain, “Compared to President Obama?!” and stated that the Conservativeness of Romney compared to Obama is WIDER than the gulf between Ronald Reagen and Jimmy Carter during the 1980s before Reagen was elected President in a landslide defeat for the religious Democrat.

As an active citizen, Newt will continue to work on the intellectually sound and challenging ideas that attracted me to his Presidency in the first place. To this day, I still believe that Newt Gringich was the right man we needed for the job… and I believe his losing of the race is a lose for the American people as a whole. For all of his flaws, the man had the big ideas and willingness to challenge and force REAL CHANGE that we needed in today’s stalled political system.

My only hope is that Newt Gingrich will be given a second chance and a real chance to affect real and sustainable change in a Romney Presidential cabinet, assuming Mitt Romney can defeat President Barack Obama in the November 2012 elections this year (which I am confident he will).

If so, I hope that Romney will consider Newt for a high and powerful position in his new cabinet. Can you imagine how much change we’d see if we had a Secretary of State Newt? Or if Newt was installed to lead this country to full production of domestic energy resources?

Here is Newt Gingrich’s final speech as a 2012 Republican for the Presidential Nomination.

If you have never listened to Newt before or even given the man the slightest of chances, I urge you to watch this video all the way through (just be warned that he gives tons and tons of thank you’s before diving into the substance of his speech). I hope that you will see the brilliance that this man brings and the ideas that we need to act on NOW if we are to save America. And I am confident that Mitt Romney will make the smart choice and adopt many of Newt’s ideas. As well as ones that were abandoned by President Obama, like the President’s own Debt Commission and its recommendations.

Among the many great ideas include a return to prominence in outer space exploration and research (his “moon colony” remark got him in trouble, but as he says, the point was real. And Google founders and billionaires are already drawing up plans to literally mine an asteroid…), fundamentally changing Social Security and economic reform to generate wealth (and give people new-found freedom), he speaks on the importance of regenerative medicine and brain research, the importance of hightech technology and accelerating research and development, reforming unemployment benefits to tie them to learning a trade, reforming how our schools work and how kids are educated and taught work ethics, reforming the way colleges work in America and fundamentally restoring the stalled government bureaucracy that saturates us, and a whole range of other issues.

Now the real work begins…

Newt Gingrich Banner of Endorses Hermain Cain, Chuck Norris and More

…… Some MAJOR players endorsed Newt Gingrich, people I respect a whole lot. Including Chuck Norris, Hermain Cain, Rick Perry, Fred Thompson, Michael Reagen, and J.C. Watts among others.

Republican GOP Presidential Race: Rick Santorum Is Out, Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul Remain

The 4 Towers - Newt, Mitt, Ron, Rick (GOP President 2012 Race)

4 Towering Giants: Republicans Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum and Ron Paul. Only three ----now remain: Exit Santorum.

I thought I’d write a little something giving my thoughts on Rick Santorum’s exit from the Republican Presidential Race which is now ongoing with three candidates remaining: The clear frontrunner and assumed nominee, Mitt Romney, the self-proclaimed “Last Conservative Standing”, Newt Gingrich and the popular Libertarian “Ron Paul”.

To be quite honest, I’ve really, really tuned the race out since even a little before Rick Santorum dropped out of the race for the 2012 Republican Presidential Nomination. This isn’t something that I did purposefully per se, but having said that, I can’t say I really miss it. And it kinda pains me to say that, as I pride myself on being extremely aware of what is going on in the world of politics, as I see it as very important. And not just following your side, but I make it a habit to watch every major speech Barack Obama gives and that of his cabinet, and generally follow and listen to what the other side is doing as well as my own.

There is only so much a man can take though, and I think race fatigue has definitely settled in with the American people, on both sides of the aisle but much more so on the Republican side. I can only imagine what it must feel like for the candidates themselves.

Newt Gingrich - The Last Conservative Left Standing (GOP Presidential Race 2012)

Despite all the odds, Gingrich is still effectively in the race. Making him the last Conservative Left Standing ----in the eyes of those opposing Mitt & Paul.

Anyway, I wanted to discuss Rick Santorum for a bit. Whatever you think of the man and his positions on issues, you gotta admire and respect what Rick Santorum managed to accomplish. No one, and I mean NO ONE, thought that Rick Santorum would give Mitt Romney a serious run for his proverbial (actually literal) money. For my sake, I was sure that person would be Herman Cain. And if it wasn’t Herman Cain and even after it became obvious that it would be Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich was the one I continued to cheer on.

Although when it came time to vote in the Arizona Primary, I ended up choosing Rick Santorum over Gingrich, due to the fact that I was hoping he’d deliver a knockout punch to Mitt Romney. I ended up choosing that over a protest vote of sorts for Gingrich, who we knew would not win Arizona. Mitt Romney ended up carrying Arizona in the end however.

Rick Santorum and Family During Concession Speech

Rick Santorum officially exits the Republican 2012 Presidential Race.

Rick Santorum really threw a wrench into things though, and he did it with, as they say, OLD-FASHIONED POLITICS. This is a guy who was outspent 10 to 1 (in a matter of speaking) and yet still managed to take on the percieved front-runner and do major damage to him, while winning outright TEN STATES. How did he do it? He spoke the truth, he spoke with conviction, he maintained a positive image and a positive vision, and he WORKED HARD.

Republican Presidential Race 2012 Delegates (April)

Rick Santorum won 269 Delegates as of April 2012, compared to Romney's 697.

And I mean this guy WORKED WORKED WORKED. As such, he is the poster boy for solid proof that someone who gets out there and gets his hands dirty, visiting each and every county of a state one-by-one, visiting all of the hotspot restaurants and political meetings, going door-to-door, shaking hands, kissing babies, and putting himself out there, can still carry the day in the age of 24-hour media oversaturation and infinite resources set against you. It is DESPITE all of these facts that Rick Santorum was able to seriously challenge Mitt Romney, that makes Rick Santorum’s story such an inspiring one. It is bonafide proof that money, the media and the culture of today all heading in one direction, does not a winning candidate make.

Here is a video of Rick Santorum’s full interview on Piers Morgan before he exited the race.

Arizona and Michigan GOP Primary Vote Is Today! GO VOTE!

Arizona Michigan GOP Primary 2012

Today, February 28th, 2012, Arizona & Michigan Vote for their Presidential Candidate! Will Santorum or Romney Win?

If you are a registered Republican and live in Arizona or Michigan, then today is voting day for you! Got out and vote for who YOU want to be the Republican nominee to face President Barack Obama this November.

If you enjoy this article please like it at the top of the website and share it on Facebook and Twitter, I’d greatly appreciate it! And leave a comment if you’re so inclined. :)

You have four candidates to choose from: Rick Santorum, Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul. Who will you be voting for?

Personally, I’m for Newt Gingrich and I still am pulling for Newt. However I will be voting for Rick Santorum in this primary of my home state. That’s because Newt will assuredly not win here in Arizona, so I’d rather give my vote to Rick so that he can deliver a knock-out punch to Romney if he wins here.

Romney vs Santorum

Who Wins Arizona & Michigan? Romney or Santorum?

While Newt is my guy, I love Santorum and I’d love to see him win the nomination. Having said that, I do like Romney as well and I’ll be supporting him hard if he wins the nomination. But he is my third choice after Newt and Santorum. Paul does not register on my radar, and if he won I’d have a hard time choosing who to vote for. Although I’m pretty sure I’d vote for Paul over President Obama, at the very least Paul would ensure that the dollar doesn’t crash and we’d turn things around fiscally.

Here’s just about the only “okay” video I could find on the bias-drenched youtube with Santorum vs Romney.
