WatchMePlayGames: Super Meat Boy Let’s Play Part 1 (PC, Steam)

Super Meat Boy is the ultimate Indie platformer!

WatchMePlay Super Meat Boy! I finally dive into my Steam collection of over 200 games (only three of which I’ve installed) and pop in this gem of a platformer… The critically acclaimed Super Meat Boy!

This is a game that I’ve been dying to play ever since it was announced. I always wanted to play it on Xbox 360, but thanks to the numerous Indie Bundles, I also picked the title up on Steam. Luckily for me, the game supports Xbox 360 controller play, so it feels just like you are playing it on a console! This made me a happy camper! I finally decided to bust the game out and play through some of it, and recorded it all the while!

Here is the fruits of my labor, a video montage where I’ve streamed together an hour’s worth of playtime of me making my way through Super Meat Boy! Included is the entirety of Worlds 1 and 2, over four videos of me trying to defeat the negative 1 Glitch Zone, boss battles, Warp Zones, and a whole lotta fun! Additionally, I am still a newb at Super Meat Boy, so you get to see some funny moments as I go through and attempt to beat each stage with an A+ Rating!

WatchMePlayGames: The Legend of Zelda Link’s Awakening DX Let’s Play Part 2 (On 3DS)

Part 2 of my WatchMePlay The Legend of Zelda Link’s Awakening DX Let’s Play! I am playing on the 3DS via the Game Boy Virtual Console 3DS eShop version of Link’s Awakening DX, which you can purchase for about $5.

In this installment of Nintendo’s Game Boy masterpiece, we continue exploring the initial Koholint Village setting of the massive Koholint Island. After talking to all of the villagers, we leave the village and head for the beach, where we will find Link’s signature “Master Sword”, that finally allows us to fight enemies! We also discover our second Secret Seashell! What happens when you collect them all? Enjoy. :)

WatchMePlayGames: Professor Layton and the Last Specter Let’s Play Part 2

Part 2 of my WatchMePlay Professor Layton and the Last Specter Let’s Play on the Nintendo DS!

Still in tutorial mode basically during the early-goings-on of this Level-5 Adventure game, we still get to experience some of the further story meat and potatoes as we arrive at the town of Misthallery and see a Tutorial on Hint Coins and The Trunk, which tells us all about those features and how they work. We also go through the first Journal Entries and watch the first “Episode”. Enjoy. :)

Part 3 of my WatchMePlay Kid Icarus: Uprising Let’s Play on the Nintendo 3DS!

In this video we finally dive into some ACTUAL gameplay of this action shooter and play through a good chunk of the tutorial and opening level of the game. IT is here that we see some real action though that is NOT necessarily tutorial based. Just keep in mind this is the first real level.

Let’s Play Kid Icarus: Uprising in the first installment of my “Through A Virgin’s Eyes” series! For my initial installment, Nintendo’s 3DS masterpiece, Kid Icarus: Uprising, is in the spotlight!

Kid Icarus: Uprising is Nintendo’s 2012 revival of a legendary 8bit masterpiece originally released in 1986 for the Nintendo Entertainment System; a game developed by Metroid-creator Gunpei Yokoi!

The game used many of the same elements as Metroid, but Kid Icarus was never nearly as popular as the first great female videogame character Samus Aran’s Metroid adventures. Regardless through Kid Icarus’ and it’s main character, the angel Pit, gained it’s own fan-following and the series got a sequel to the NES game for the Game Boy in 1991 with Kid Icarus: Of Myth and Monsters.

That game built on the original NES titles action, but fans were disappointed when Pit fell off the face of the earth, never to be seen again! He was finally revived by Nintendo with Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii, a fighting game that pit (pun non intended) many of Nintendo’s most-popular characters against each other!
