A mixture not often seen, it is one that I hope to break open and continue to adhere too here at WatchUsPlayGames. This is a place where all of my passions combine, although videogames will be a big focus.
My passions also lie outside gaming. I love to write and wrote for http://www.videogamesblogger.com as the lead writer for 7 years (see that caricature dressed in Link’s green tunic on the righthand side? That’s me), I also love metal music (particularly Christian metal), alongside hip-hop (most strictly Christian) in addition to politics (registered Republican, proud Conservative), shooting hoops (basketball), collecting (starting with videogames, also including coins, magazines, and comics to a lesser extent), star-gazing and interacting with friends and the internets.
I read a wide-range of books. In particular biographies, autobiographies, books written by Muslims (woman in particular), and subjects including Religion, History, Science, Theology, Politics, Videogames and the like. I rarely read fiction, although I will from time-to-time (currently on Harry Potter, will probably do A Series of Unfortunate Events next. Read and loved all the Lord of the Rings titles including The Silmarillian).
I am always online, and maintain a very large videogame collection that gets closer to 1000 everyday. Although I love to speak, write and read about videogames, I rarely seem to find time to actually play them. Case-in-point, name some of the biggest titles of the last 5 years and I’ve likely never played them.
Whether you are speaking of Assassin’s Creed, Oblivion or Skyrim, any of the GTA titles, Bioshock, Ninja Gaiden II, Portal, Mass Effect, Final Fantasy XIII, Dragon Age or WOW… suffice it to say I have A LOT of catching up to do.
I plan on highly leveraging youtube today and in the future to pave the way for earning money online and playing the biggest titles I’ve yet to play… killing two birds with one stone is the name, DAVID THE SHEPHARD BOY IS MY NAME!!!!!
Get it? Wah-hahahahahaha.
