Combining the very iconic style of the Battlefield 3 cover box artwork with Halo and Master Chief creates utter awesomeness! A great idea and awesome execution.
Here is the launch trailer for the original Battlefield 3.

Today’s DC Talk Month Song of the Day is “I Wish We’d All Been Ready” from their 2001 album Intermission. This song is track #16 of 19.
“I Wish We’d All Been Ready” is one of the four total new songs on Intermission: The Greatest Hits, released in 2001. This song however is recorded live, and isn’t studio like the two truly new songs (Chance and Sugercoat It). This song is very powerful, and tells a tale of the Rapture when the church will be taken from the Earth and tells of the everyday situation people will be in when it happens. Like the title says, “I wish we’d all been ready.” An absolutely beautiful, touching, sad song that really makes you think, hope and pray. Not to mention inspire you to tell others about The Second Coming!
I Wish We’d All Been Ready DC Talk Song Lyrics
Life was filled with guns and war
And all of us got trampled on the floor
I wish we’d all been ready
Children died the days grew cold
A piece of bread could buy a bag of gold
I wish we’d all been ready
There’s no time to change your mind
The Son has come and you’ve been left behind
A man and wife asleep in bed
She hears a noise and turns her head he’s gone
I wish we’d all been ready
Two men walking up a hill
One disappears and one’s left standing still
I wish we’d all been ready
There’s no time to change your mind
The Son has come and you’ve been left behind
Children died the days grew cold
A piece of bread could buy a bag of gold
I wish we’d all been ready
There’s no time to change your mind
The Son has come and you’ve been left behind
The Father spoke the demons died
How could you have been so blind
There’s no time to change your mind
The Son has come and you’ve been left behind
I hope we’ll all be ready you’ve been left behind
I hope we’ll all be ready you’ve been left behind
I hope we’ll all be ready you’ve been left behind

About DC Talk Month
March 2013 is dedicated to the Christian rock pioneers DC Talk, arguably my favorite Christian CCM (Contemporary Christian Music) rock band and follows January 2013 which was Demon Hunter Month and February 2013 which was Becoming the Archetype Month. March will feature songs from most of dc Talk’s discography (1992’s Free At Last, 1995’s Jesus Freak, 1998’s Supernatural and 2000’s Intermission) featured daily throughout the month, one a day. Whether you like rock/alternative/hip-hop music, believe in God or not, check these songs out as you may be pleasantly surprised and hopefully you will discover some new-to-your-ears music to enjoy. DC Talk features lots of variety in their tunes, from hard rock to hip-hop to slow ballads that will pull on your heartstrings to singable power pop, so there will most certainly be something you’ll like. Today’s DC Talk Month Song of the Day is “Wanna Be Loved” from their 1998 album Supernatural. This song is track #8 of 14.
Wanna Be Loved is one of my favorite songs off the Supernatural album, simply because it’s such a great theme… The song talks about the fact that every one wants someone to love, and deserves a lover back. And there is nothing at all wrong with that. This is a high quality tune, and it really grows on you. Enjoy!
Wanna Be Loved DC Talk Song Lyrics
A rainy monday afternoon
There’s a funk over the city
Everybody’s movin’ to a different tune
Some are weak
And some are strong
And some are sittin’ pretty
Then there’s others who are barely hangin’ on
It’s no easy situation
People living in their separate worlds
But one thing that we’ve got in common is
We all wanna be loved
We all want just a little respect
We all wanna be loved
Tell me what’s wrong with that
I’ve never heard a dying soul
Wish that he had taken
More time on his portfolio
I swear, I’ve never heard a Mama say
Should’ve never had that baby
As a Doctor holds her newborn on display
It’s the heavenly prescription
A little bit will go a long, long way
Just put yourself in their position, don’t
(Chorus)
Faith and hope are worth a mention
But love is holding it’s position…cause
(Chorus)

Today’s DC Talk Month Song of the Day is “Mind’s Eye” from their 1995 album Jesus Freak. This song is track #12 of 13 and is the closing song on the record (the last track being an interlude).
Mind’s Eye is a great tune that deals with faith, and likens belief in God to the way the wind works. You can see the effects of the wind, but you can’t actually see the wind. As with God, you can see the effects of God in people and the way Christ transforms lives, but the mystery is in the fact that you don’t physically see God. I absolutely love this song, it has a very smooth sound to it and I love the instrumentation.
Mind’s Eye DC Talk Song Lyrics
You know what I’m going through
I know that it’s true
Cause you’ve stood in my shoes
Desire’s inside of me
But, it’s hard to believe
In what you cannot see
Can you catch the wind?
See a breeze?
It’s presence is revealed by the leaves on a tree
An image of my faith in the unseen
In my mind’s eye
I see Your face
You smile
As You show me grace
In my mind’s eye
You take my hand
We walk through foreign lands
The foreign lands of life
In my mind
I’m where I belong
As I rest in Your arms
And like a child I hold on to you
In my moment of truth
Yes I do
We can ride the storm
Endure the pain
You comfort me in my hurricane
And I’ll never be alone again
Can you catch the wind?
Can you see the breeze?
In my mind I can see Your face
Love pours down in a shower of grace
Life is a gift that You choose to give
And I believe that we eternally live
Faith is the evidence of things unseen
People tell me that You’re just a dream
But they don’t know you the way that I do
You’re the one I live to pursue
